23 Hey Guys...
Just thought I would share even though many of you may know about this potential hazard. A friend of mind is in the hospital this morning with 2nd degree burns around his groin and right knee. Apparently his e-cigarette exploded in his pocket. I don't know any of the details at this point. I didn't even know they could do that....of course I guess they do have a battery.....Anyway, for those of you that may use those, be awear there could be a potential problem.

30 Damn..that is nasty, hope he gets better soon.
I do know how he feels though, I once had a QAV 250 in my pocket with the lipo still plugged in and accidently hit the throttle on the radio and all hell broke loose, my crotch was being eaten alive by what could have been a pack of wild Honey Badgers, almost lost the meat and veg. Ok, so that didn't really happen..but it could have.
But true story..I did as a kid have fire crackers explode in my pants... have to say that hurt .

23 Meant to update this earlier.....but life got in the way. I had a chance to talk to my friend and it wasn't the ecigarette that exploded, it was a spare battery for it he had in his pocket. He said it literally exploded and caught is pants on fire and was shooting fire down his leg. Said he has second and third degree burns from his groin to his knee. Expects to be out of work for 6 to 8 weeks. He is a dredging inspector and does not spend much time behind a desk....he's usually out in the field....very active job. He said next week is when they will start cleaning it out every day to prevent infection....I do NOT envy him. Ok....enough babbling, just wanted to close the loop.
