DYS XBR220 F3 OSD integrated PDB
#1
DYS PCB board XBR220 integrated with F3 flight controller, OSD, UBEC (only 5V) and power distribution board for FPV racer quadcopter. Pretty impressively little board that does all the things we want lol.

Because the XBR220 racer is more popular now, so,  DYS release a board with clean flight with power distribution board finally.
Feature:
  • F3 Flight control, OSD, UBED and the power distribution board to integrated into a PCB board, with a debug function and can easy work with more quadcopters, minimize the difficulties in installation and debugging.
  • PCB board is with multi-layers copper foil, solder pad, what is easy to minimize the interference, can take more current.
  • The PCB board is easy to upgrading the firmware because it is with connectors of the F3 clean flight, OSD upgraded turnning.
  • F3 clean flight is with more connectors, and convenient for pilots to expand peripherals.
  • The function setting is with base edition, advanced edition and advanced integrated with pressure sensor and compass.
Specification:

  • Input Voltage:6-16.8V(2-4S)
  • Output Voltage:5V/3A
  • SPRacingF3 Version:1.12.0
  • MW OSD Version:R1.6

that's true, it's a 50mm x 50mm board actually! but can be mounted on 36x36 frame...

Hello,
I'm a long time RC'er but new to quads. While looking for information about the DYS PCB board XBR220 I saw this post. I have one and I am trying to figure out if I can use it with my Spektrum Quad Race Serial Receiver w/Diversity. By chance would anyone know if that combo would work or do I need a different combo? If not where else might I find the info needed to make the determination?

Thanks

I recently purchased this xdr220 and i'm trying to connect up my spektrum satellite rx to it but I have yet to find 3.3v. Can anyone tell me where to get the 3.3v or if it's even possible?

I read on RCG that there is no 3.3v out.  A couple of folks there got a Pololu 3.3v regulator and tapped power from a 5V pin.

Thank you for your reply. I did find 3.18v on the pin marked T2 but I'm not sure if it can be used for anything needing 3.3v or not. I think it maybe used for the osd. Speaking of which I have another question about the osd. I was messing with the settings in my goggles and shut off the osd. I think it was the setting named debug. Now that I selected debug I don't have any osd. Can this be recovered and how can I do it? Thanks again

I have this board, DYS XBR220. How do I configure OSD? I've used CleanFlight to set my OSD the way I want it, and saved it. I want individual cell voltage shown, the horizon set at 30 deg to match my camera angle, the word "SHIKI" removed, ETC, but the settings never change.

I can use the stick combination to get into the OSD menu in my FPV goggles, but there are only a few settings available, and no documentation on what all the settings are or what they change.

Anyone with any help?

I think F3 is wrong choice while knowing that Betaflight stopped support on this chip

You don't say what version of Cleanflight firmware you have installed or what Configurator version you're using. Both need to be compatible with each other for things to work smoothly.

Another thing to consider is that Cleanflight has been lacking proper support and development for quite a long time now, and Betaflight instead took over where Cleanflight left off. The DYS XBR220 board uses the SPRACINGF3 target for which the latest release of Betaflight (4.0.0) supports, so you may want to consider switching (upgrading) to Betaflight. Details are in the following thread...

https://intofpv.com/t-news-betaflight-4-...-available

I also notice another possible complication here in that this board uses MW OSD which is traditionally an OSD that is on an external board and which is controlled through it's own firmware and menu system. However, on this board the MW OSD chip is onboard the FC itself rather than on an external OSD board. I've not done any further research into whether Cleanflight/Betaflight can use the MW OSD chip to display the Cleanflight/Betaflight controlled OSD items. Maybe someone else knows but as this is quite an old flight controller you will probably find that support and help for it is now a bit lacking because a majority of FPV enthusiasts will have moved onto newer more modern flight controllers.

I'm used Cleanflight 2.4.0 to flash SPRACINGF3 v2.5.0. I tried Betaflight but the latest SPRACINGF3 firmware is all buggy, the pitch axis all 270 deg off, the configurator doesn't show my PID's on the graph, and a few other issues. I see that Betaflight should be able to do Pass-through if I knew which UART the OSD was using, but I can't find info on how to correctly setup the ports.

Thanks for the help, this is my son's first acro drone, I'm the Programer (-:

Are you using the correct configurator version?

Changing the pitch axis isn't difficult.
