DYS MR2205 Motors for Mini Quad
#1
DYS is releasing the new MR series of mini quad motors, designed for multirotor racing.
Looks good quality magnets, bearings with hand-wound single strand coils.

These motors include a lock nut to secure your propeller which makes it much easier to swap your propellers when they get damaged. Also it makes building your FPV racing quadcopter much easier as you dont need to figure out which motors has a CCW thread and or CW thread.

Wonder how they compare to the EMAX RS2205 motors.

These motors have caught my eye for sure, But I have to be honest and say I personally prefer the screw on type Prop Adaptors. This is only a personal thing and by no means a reflection on this or or any other motors performance.

Sure they may add a little more weight, but does make changing a damaged threaded prop shaft out in the field.

LOL, but in saying all that, I do love the Emax 2205 red bottoms.

I think having integrated motor shaft can allow lower shaft height (better for performance), easier for users and more reliable (no risk of loosen prop adapter nuts), and lower production cost (i think having no extra hardware)

FPVModel sells those screw on type of prop adapter motors if you fancy them hehe Big Grin
