DShot beacon functions but actual buzzer doesnt
#1
Hello,

I have double checked that my buzzer unit is connected. But I am unable to get it to make noise through the quad.

It is not too big of a deal because the Dshot beacons work but it would be nice to have a louder buzzer.

Does anyone know if there is any particular settings in beta flight I need to enable/disable?

I did attempt all of the console commands provided by the manual.

Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for your time in responding.

I have a Mantis 85's default buzzer. It is a small piezo buzzer. Standard +/- legs.

This quad is running this FC

I do have the wires connected correctly as indicated by the + sign above the ulterior leg.

The beeper tone settings in BetaFlight are as follows:

Code:

I had a failsafe today in a field. The Dshot buzzer saved me but it sounded an awful lot like the bird chirps in the area at the time! Was quite scary in the tall grass.

Voodoo,

When I had set beeper_frequency = 0 the little buzzer does not activate still.

I will swap the wires to make sure the silk screen isnt incorrect.

It really looks like you have everything correct. You can just put 5V to buzzer to make sure it is working.

Hello,

The 5 volts did work.

I believe it is a software issue with this Super_S F4 board.

I appreciate your time in responding.
