NA miata, couple of subarus, what looks like a couple of speed 3s... reminds me of the meets I used to go to back in Vegas...

I have to admit, I hadn't considered what it might be like to fly freestyle at a car meet... If your friends are anything like my friends they must have quite a bit of trust in you to let you and whomever else fly near their cars like that ROFL  Either that or they don't know about all the crash reels out on the internet :p

Fun stuff! As mentioned, it takes some risk-prone and -accustomed collective to put into practice, but *whohooo, what fuunnn!! The drivers were too "tunneled" to be distracted by a circling quad over their heads? ;o)

What blows my mind in these types of videos is how much faster the quads are! You're doing flips and flying backwards half the time and you can still keep up with the cars!

The course looks super tight and probably doesn't have a ton of opportunity to get up over 60mph I would have to guess... It almost looks like a kart track (shifter karts, not go-carts) which even with a Miata would be tight!

We explained and made sure they understand they need to keep their eyes on the road, it's our job to not hit them. If we fly towards them, they need to keep their lines and ignore us. We took close attention to where the lines are and learned them before starting to fly.

ya we had to lower the camera angle significantly, but thats mostly because it was a small carting track. On a different day we met another group in an airport runway and it was much harder to keep up with the cars on the straight lines, especially in the long straight lines, the batteries couldn't take it..
