I recently ordered a frame that was supposedly in stock but after five days of waiting for any indication of shipment, I finally just filed a dispute.  They do not have a phone number listed and are unresponsive to email.  I was able to get to them on Facebook but after a single "it will ship tomorrow" response, complete radio silence.

In fairness, I'd ordered a hex tool from them before and that arrived fine.  But after talking to some RCG heads about them, turns out credit card disputes with that store is nothing new.

The more I am getting into surface RC (my impression so far is it is a MUCH bigger market than drones), there are a lot of operations far shadier that do just drop shipping. Especially in cases where an item is out of stock everywhere else or if the price just seems too good to be true, always do your background checking I guess is the morale of the story.

On the other hand, I found this frame that was out of stock in most places (Acrobrat) at another palce - Krazy Kwads. Like with Drone Racing Parts, I had ordered one other thing from them before and had no issues. I made the purchase and at the same time sent an email confirming the item was in fact in stock. I got a response quickly, soon after tracking info, and now have my frame. So sometimes they are not shady.
