Double Double Buzzer - Connect multiple buzzers in parallel
#1
Saw this on our FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Copter.F...693073708/

Combining two 5V buzzers together in parallel for louder (increased volume), multi-directional beeping sound, also can act as a fallback in case one is broken during a crash.

He mentioned that it is in parallel. So both buzzers pos to fc pos and buzzers neg to fc neg.

here is something quick that I whipped up in PPT in case it helps...

Approach one: both beepers wired (useful if you're going to position them in different spots on the quad

Approach two which would be more fitting and cleaner wiring if putting them back to back like in the picture. pairing the + and Gnd together and then running a single wire to the point where you combine them:

Wonderful idea! I like the fact it makes multi-directional.

I once did something similar, but with bright LEDs. Since it is sometimes easier to see flashing LEDs, than it is to hear a far away beeper, I put two of these back-to-back, connected to a Rx-controlled beeper. So, when I flipped the switch for that channel, the beeper and both LEDs would activate. It worked great! Since one LED was facing up, and the other down, I could usually see the flashing whether I crashed upright or inverted.

Hello Y'all,
I am building a Rmrc Hellbender 204. I put a buzzer on all my builds and I remembered this thread. I used approach two and put the buzzers right behind the camera. Can't wait to hear the difference. Thanks Cche for posting it. Tony
