Well since you’re here now, this is my first build log.
After finding out the my fc has a shorted 3,3v circuit I orderd the mamba f405 stack.
Here it is in all its beauty.

This is the old stuff

I’ve decided that I would just take the whole thing off and replace it with the stack while I get myself a spare fc for the working esc. So, time to desolder.


Once desolderd

New esc solderd on. I had a lot of trouble fitting that thing and wiring it. In fact i had to put it sideways and upside down so that it would fit.

Next the fc

And configuring.
 
The finishing touches would be: heatshrink, props and battery

But sadly this is where it ends and the troubleshooting starts, as when I spin the motors up in betaflight on the pc, they work fine but once on the fc, problems occure.

As soon as i have fixed that, i will post the maiden flight.

May I suggest to change your motors so that the red wires go on the front or back of the quad, I personaly think it would give a good finishing touch

Yes, you may suggest that, but actually it is already the case. The fc is turned 90 degrees because thats the only way the esc would fit. :-)
This is why the XT60 comes out of the left side.

Then don't use props in, that usb port could get full of dirt, etc...

Haha thanks gl to you too! The racestar worked great but i didn't have enough time with it too really test the durability.

I don't have a way to record dvr and don't have a gopro attachement so this silly edit while have to do

Yeah well actually the connector is covered by the connector of the vtx antenna but ill buy some anyway.
