i'm sure most you folks like me buy extra parts so you can
repair or up grade your favorite quad....
but then you look in your toolbox, shelf or drawer,
and say to yourself 'what the heck, i have enough parts there
to build another one' and so you do.
and another. and another.
then you tell yourself  "ok stop,!  3 (in every size) is enough
one to fly and one to have as a  spair in case you crash your best  one
and the one on the bench being repaired.

but then you open your toolbox or your drawer and somehow there are more parts
and it starts over again

its a sickness  ... but hey at least your not a hoarder

I'm only a couple of builds in... although I have 2 that I am planning right now, one that's going to be LOS only and trying to decide what to do to switch myself to a new frame. I am at a point where I have parts that I need for the next builds though. I am sure I'll get to where you are within the next year if I can pick out a frame that I like.

like most i got some RTF quads. got the virus
bought a qx95 and the trimmings ;new frame &vtx...
bought 2- 130mm/8520 , get some FC , get other 'spare'
FC;put vtxs on some of my BNF's; bought a ER250 CC3D;
later bought a F3 as a 'spare'
took the Henry Ford approach using interchangeable parts
bought some extra arms and PDB/bottom deck and some
 CF sheet to make the top deck(s) ;built a ground station;
then did the GuruX 3D print servo/camera mod for the front plates
 and now its number 3 on a bad PDB lower frame with a
Matek PDB and a 'spare' F3; need i say more,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ahh,
 oh yeah i want the F4 Matek AIO that Oscar is going to review soon i hope!

after FPVing now the wife keeps saying 'go to the bathroom and wash that grin off your face'
when i come back from the john i usually have to tell her'~ it doesn't wash off!

Hello. I’m a dronaholic. I stopped ‘spare parting’ at 13 drones.

We all are. However, if it wasn't for FedEx and UPS, I wouldn't have a problem

yup... and as the "scrap" is born.. you expect it to fly "decent" yet as you build it with 100% chill
it often has best flight characteristics Smile ... and you have 2-3 few spare parts left...
All the best
