Do FrSky region lock the Q X7?
#1
Hi folks.

I've purchased a Taranis Q X7 from Banggood and living in the U.K. tried to flash the EU firmware to it. I dropped both the EU and the nonEU frk files for the internal XJT module onto the SD card but when I went to flash the EU firmware, only the EU frk file was displayed even though the nonEU frk file is in the same FIRMWARE directory.

Are the Q X7's somehow region locked?

Probably. It may be a condition of being granted EU approval.
