From my perspective, the chip crisis we are in the middle of makes DJI shift quite uneasy. DJI goggles are mostly soldout on a minute, resupply takes weeks, price is not going down.
Also not only goggle, but caddx digital system is soldout everywhere, and take weeks to get from BG when available.
So basically, i would stick to analog, which seems to be less impacted from chip crisis.

The main rx chip is old RX5808 mass produced in early 2010 and with tons of supply that FPV quad give a second life. Almost all analog receivers are based on this chip only firmware makes a difference.
personnaly, i am in the same dilemma, where i need to refresh my quads from last year, and was seriously thinking to dji, but supply crisis stops me and i decided to go again analog this year.

Apart from the chip crisis, when news was out that the DJI AU was no longer available from, everyone stocked up to future proof their investment Smile

The chip shortage is real, and the way DJI is handling all this goggles activation thing is highly suspicious. Also the CADDX announcement of the "new" air-unit for almost USD 190 keep the running cost up.

I finally decided staying analog, and Im waiting the sky04x.

I as well am holding off for now. I think I may end up with Sharkbyte. I'm hoping Runcam will release the phoenix 2 for digital and SHarkbyte will get a good cam finally. The only worry I have is that many people say Sharkbyte penetration is at best the same as analog and oftentimes worse. I dunno anymore. I'm staying analog and enjoying flying for now....
