Gotta read more and more...

The whole digital FPV world is in a bit of turmoil at the moment. For anyone wanting to move to digital it just makes the decision about which system to invest your money in really difficult right now until things have stabilised and we know where things are headed with each system.

If you're interested in the Walksnail / FatShark Avatar HD digital FPV system then I suggest you get yourself a (very big) mug of coffee and spend some time reading through the following thread Big Grin

And then of course there is also the HDZero HD system. More info in the following threads...

For DJI Avata users in a CE region who want to unlock FCC power modes (>25mW), see the following post...

For anyone who has a DJI Avata and isn't already aware, that latest firmware just released activates Remote ID on the Avata and prevents you from taking off unless you have a phone connected to the goggles so that the Avata can get the GPS location of the pilot to be broadcast from the drone while in flight. If you attempt to arm / take off without a phone connected you get a "Remote ID" warning message in the goggles and are left grounded.

This only appears to apply to Avata's that are flown within the USA. People from outside the USA have reported that they have been able to arm / take off using the latest firmware without a phone connected to the goggles.

So it's now all started. Welcome to the world of Remote ID.

Bruce also posted the following short video about it below...
