Diy field pack using 18650 cells
#1
Get dead laptop batteries from friends

Recycle good ones charge discharge so you know good cells

Then solder them in your own patern

I did 4S12P (cells was 1500mah average) so this gave me nice 18A discharge rate (1C) don't have sag while puling 10A so call it success.

Now just need to print nice box for it and happy flying

Regards

Isn't having mixed capacity cells dangerous when you have them in series. The smaller capacity will get to max voltage sooner.

I only charging pack to 4.1v to give room for weaker cells.

That's what I want to build too when I have time Smile
Probably a good idea to get a spot welder for it, quicker and safer.
