Dives, The Kerni Invertet Head Wag (featuring name by sloscotty), and Gates
#1
So this video is more about sharing my progress as I learn to get better and better at flying than anything. The first couple of cuts lead to a tree dive that made me  Poop my pants... I still gasp when I see it. I just knew I was going to get stuck in the tree or hit the ground devastatingly hard but neither happened and it makes it look like I knew what I was doing!

Then a couple of attempts at "The Kerni invertet head wag (featuring name by sloscotty)"... one ending in a crash. Then I almost sort of get it, but I think the vortex might just be too heavy to do that trick very well. I'll have to try again on the new build and or the diatone after I get it.

And in the end its just a bunch of making it slowly through gates and showing my bad habit for giving it a ton of throttle on the other end of the gate  ROFL While all of this footage is only 1 week ago I've already improved greatly and have almost eliminated that bad habit. It seems these days that I am at a place where I get better faster than I have in the rest of my journey so I am happy about that! Instead of it taking 10 hours of sim time and 15 batteries to smooth out some sort of problem or learn some trick I can usually get there with a couple of hours sim time and 3 or 4 batteries after. This means I am starting to learn faster than i can decide what to work on and at times I am like "which thing should I fix next"...

Song is original again. It's called "Alarm Activated" on my album "No Music" like the others. The clip that you'll hear is an actual alarm that was triggered at McCarran (LAS) airport last year.

You are progressing very well Carl! Nice flying and the "head wag" looked pretty good! (BTW, no need for continuing the attribution - I doubt I'll ever be able to do that move anyway...)

Thanks!

And the attribution makes the name sound cooler and more intoFPVish

lol, doping? naaaah.. :p

Thanks on the song. I knew when I heard it that it would become a song, I didn't plan that it'd be a laid back one though. It's one of my favorite songs from the album.

I've now used 4 of my songs from the 12 song album... eventually I'll need to make more to keep up, or to dig up some of my old ones x.x The 4th is on a video that I uploaded to my youtube channel but I am unsure if I want to post on here because it's sort of bad-influence. I was flying near power lines and didn't really consider just how big of a deal that was until after I landed... It has one of my other favorites from the album though Smile

Oh I definitely meant to dive them... I didn't mean to get close enough to have a panic attack lol... the boss intentions I'll never admit one way or the other.

Thanks. I've been on a kick of originals lately for the heck of it. I am thinking about my next one being an Avicii song that I've fallen in love with if I can do the flying to match it... maybe use it for the contest. We shall see...
