0 16-Nov-2020, 07:55 PM (This post was last modified: 16-Nov-2020, 07:56 PM by HiThere.) Looking for a good directional antenna to use with an omni. Any thoughts?
Looking at things under $40 like
- trueRC x-air
- VAS crosshair extreme
- Other helicals??
I also think I want to go with a wider beamwidth like 120+ for more coverage.

78 A little more money, the VAS Pepperbox. (not the extreme, it seems to perform a little worse)

12 I have the x2-air with rapdfire and Im very satisfied with it's performance i imagine the x-air would be comparable with less directionality and maybe a slight range difference. The vast pepper box may be the winner in all out long range performance over the x-air, at least from krohsis''s results. I'd not hesitate to buy a truerc product again, they are top notch quality.

0 I don't think I'm going to be hard core long ranging. Just like a half mile radius circle around me I can cruise with an omni. And then if I want to go farther, I can go in the direction of the patch. Nothing to fancy like one direction there and back flights.
I have a truerc singularity that I plan to use on the quad. Is that good?
