121 With high enough kv motors, you can go plenty fast on 3s.
Dangerous operations.
Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

19 Yesterday was school RC club day. Indoors. Started as usual with RC Hovercraft (Whoovers) but as numbers were low, some away at a school camp, the remainder were a good number to attempt Quad flying Tiny Whoop 65's (Eachine E010 and JJRC H36).
Fair to say the boys I had were amongst the more challenged ones special needs wise, hence not going to a walking camp in the mountains.
After the usual shock that flying involved more than just opening the throttle fully, then shutting it fully in panic, they all did very well.

19 Speed Runs with a quad are rather like dropping a stone off a cliff. The inherent stability and lack of torque roll, unlike fixed wing, gives little scope for skill in flying. Granted skill in building and fettling, but that's not much of a challenge either. My fastest wing mentioned above had such torque reaction that trimmed for take off and landing, at full speed I was holding half aileron stick to keep it from rolling in. And I had to use three rates as I accelerated and slowed to retain control.
There's, NOTHING in RC that gets near dynamic soaring for skill requirement. Go fast, turn left, fly low, easy, Eh? (and no FPV) Try it!!
You'll need a decent sized HD screen to watch this..........
