5 I have a Diatone v5 PDB and I'm wondering if it is capable of 4s.
I see some mini quad builds are specifically for 4s or people using 3s then moving up, what I'm asking, will this PDB be able to support 4S LiPo battery?
Plan:
Use PDB to regulate voltage in 3s and when it's time move up to 4s, with out having to redo anything.

3 21-Jun-2016, 08:13 PM (This post was last modified: 21-Jun-2016, 08:15 PM by DragonFly.) You need to check the operating voltages of all you onboard equipment and i would recommend you test any stepdown voltage before connecting equipment.
it's not the PDB you should worry about it's your components. You need to be sure of their operating voltage. This V5 PDB has both 12v and 5v BEC onboard? Use a multi-meter to confirm the step-down voltage supply when you have a 3S pack connected and when you have a 4s pack connected.

1 I have the v7. Like it's said above check your components operating voltage. I set my camera for 5v and set the VTX for VCC. My VTX can handle 7 to 18v. I run 3s and 4s with no issues. People have had a lot of issues by using the 12v with 3s though, as 3S's voltage can drop below 12V and the 12V regulator doesn't like that and output something a lot lower.
