121 I’m all for servo’s recycling suggestion.
Those thin semi rigid plastic shelf liners would probably work as well.
When the pandemic first started I was using clear plastic sheets to make face shields- those would probably be perfect. I’ll hafta see if I have any left or if I can figure what they were.

101 The only thing I'm worried about is if the motors start burning up and melt the plastic. I'm thinking maybe a thin silicone sheet cut to small circles.

121 My only concern with silicone sheets is that it would be a little floppy. I’m guessing you’re thinking of cutting circles, hole punch in the middle, with a slit to get it around the post? If it flopped around in flight and managed to get caught up in the bell it could go horribly wrong.

101 Good call. Got another brain fart - kapton tape. Two layers stuck to each other, cut out circle, punch hole in middle, cut line to that hole. Might be simple enough to actually work lol.

101 I'm gonna start doing this. I can't tell you how much $$$ I have literally burned from screws shorting motors. I use TPU motor pads as well as landing skids so it makes things a little more tricky as that screw keeps getting deeper as it settles.

121 Let me know how the kapton tape works, I’d like to do it for mine as well.
