Desync, yaw of death?
#1
Hey All,

I've been having problems with desyncs and I haven't been able to figure it out.  I even changed my FC!!! and pretty much tried every blheli demag / timing config, same problem.

Here's my setup:
Armattan F1FC with betaflight 2.8.1
LB 30a esc with multishot.
cobra 2206, 2100kv
dal 6/45/3

I finally ran a blackbox log with the new FC.  Now I'm not too literate enough to get a good read out of the BB info, maybe someone here can help.  There's a few things I noticed...

1)  Seems like my gyro is noisy.  I'm using Armattan F1FC with betaflight 2.8.1, 30a esc with multishot.
2)  I notice when the problem happens, my voltage drops to the cutoff range. You can see this in my blackbox log.

Do you guys think my 6 inch props are just drawing too much juice and it's actually activating the voltage cutoff?

yeah that's pretty noisy. Have you tried oneshot instead of multishot to see if it gets better. Make sure your screws aren't touching motor windings. If your not already doing it add some kind of vibration dampening to your FC. Other than that try lowering your Ds alot, though Yaw P is nuts with out any D... I believe 6 inch props do generate more vibrations and your using some pretty aggressive sixes. Couldn't hurt to try some 6040/30s or better 5 inch

Trollhammered,

I think the source of all my problems were those 6inch tris.  Changed them to dys quad blade and readings are waaaaay smoother.  I haven't tried any flips yet, but it looks like my voltage is not dropping anymore.  I tried doing the same throttle movements and no more yaw of death.

For anyone else in the future that's interested, here's the blackbox to compare..
