Cucumber & Yogurt Full Skin Wrap
#1
Tongue
Was just looking at your new Stikit Wrapz and I'm thinking of getting one for a MASSIVE Droner when they drop next month and I was wondering if you had tried Hydro Dip graphics and if so what were your thoughts?  Clearly you decided on "thick plastic stuff" and I have to believe that any red blooded, animal eatin, whiskey drinking 'Merican is gonna land on the #1, super-most bestest product but, I'm just not 100% on the durability factor of "thick plastic stuff."
  Thinking

Thanks.

-can't wait to get my hands on your massive droner! (no homo)

Hydrodip is expensive, time consuming, and heavy. It looks really nice though! In addition its tough for a shop like us to know what customers will buy. Do we dip 20 frames of graphic type 1? Maybe 40 of graphic type 7? Who knows?! I don't want to invest a ton of cash on the wrong type of dip. You know what I am saying? Art is very subjective so it makes it very very risky for me. This is why you see very few shops offer hydrodip. Usually only a custom per order basis.

What we do with Stikit skins is offer drop shipped skins. With this there is almost no risk for me. Also, you (the customer) get the advantage of literally ALL of the available skin graphic selections.

Also....Merica F*** yea Tongue

Cheers!

Lol, but can we try to regulate the use of expletives please? We do have some young forum members!

@ $woop - Just FYI we do sometimes get a lot of spam on the forum - I actually thought this was a spam thread when I 1st read the title!

If anyone is wondering (like I did) what this rap about wrap is all about, here is a pic to help -

I completely understand and agree with everything you said.  I didn't stop to think about the risk involved on your end and I agree that from your perspective, theres near zero value in pre-dipping frames for the market and honestly, drop shipping skins?  100% solution.  I really like that complanies are offering graphics of any kind TBH.  I like the look of some colored components on an all black frame but right now, nothing will make your hog stand out like frame graphics.
As I am a terminal tinker I'm gonna grab a DIY Hydrodip kit and see what I can do with it.  I have a couple ideas that I want to do this year which include a graphic of $100 bills on the frame with matching green and gold components and a solid gold kwad built around the Gemfan Master Series 5045 TRI BN propellers and a set of gold motors.  I'm hoping to use your Superlight 5" (Norris ed) or the Speed Addict 210-R for my Solid Goldmember project.

BTW, I love your site and everything you guys have done.  I'm just getting into the hobby but I really don't see any reason to buy anyone else's frames.  CMW FTW!

Also, also....Freedom is the only way, yeah.

Skall!

Sorry about the use of harsh letters but I saw somewhere that strong language is a good thing.  Of course I will curtail my use of any controversial words in the interest of our youth.  While I do find Spam an extremely delicious meat product I absolutely abhor it's presence online in all its forms.  You may rest assured I will never spam your boards, although I have been known to Spam a couple fried eggs and rice with gravy.  But, only in Hawaii.   Tongue
