Hi guys,  I'm new to this forum. Looks pretty sweet!   I'm having some frustrating trouble with my  RotorX Raiju 155mm hex and I'm now leaning towards the issue being with my Furious FPV Piko BLX FC w/PDB. I only got 2-3 decent flights out of it before I started having problems.

 The problem: Motor #1 started stuttering and stopped when I give any throttle. (Now it's just dead)
My first assumption was an esc issue so here's what I've tried.

1- Re-flowed solder pads and checked for bridging and there was none.
2- I replaced the #1 esc and the problem continued
3- Tested motor #1 on motor #2 spot and it was dead (So it's the motor, right.) NOT!
4- Bought new motor and installed it with new esc and nothing changed (motor still stutters)
5- Tried swapping escs' and motors to position #1 and same issue. (All stutter)
6- Tried re-calibrating escs in blheli pass through and changed demag and timing (no change)
 
 I'm at a loss, I've gotten a lot of help from Tim at Furious FPV, he thought it was an esc issue.  I'm definitely not an expert and I am still learning how to test components.  I really feel like it is the FC now.  The PDB is rated for 50a max and I'm running 6 motors and escs, not FPV yet. Not worth doing anything until I get this squared away.

Does anyone have any experience with this FC?  I've already killed 1 motor and I don't want to play Russian roulette with any more.

Edit: I forgot to mention that when I throttle down, motor #1's esc will beep.

Do you also run the ground wire from your signal wire from the FC to the ESC?
Are you srews for your motor mount not too long, touching the windings?

Man! Maybe that's the problem?! I just assumed looking at the Pikos wiring schematics and the RotorX wires that I didn't need it (actually didn't even occur) because Piko didn't show it and Escs only have signals. I'm used to having to remove the grounds and keeping only the Motor 1 grounded. I'll give that a shot later today.

I see on the schematic that it's normal to not use the ground, this because the power for the ESC's is also comming through the FC, so can forget that option, i'm sorry for the false hope, but you can still check your motor mount screw if they are not touching the windings.

Maybe you can also place some pictures of your build, from your FC, ESC and motor connections.

yea ESC signal ground might not necessary in small builds (rule I follow is "current draw less than 15A"), so that's less likely to be the problem.
You haven't confirmed if the motor screw was too long and touching the motor winding yet.

I would probably swap out the ESC and motor if nothing works...
