Interesting hack on how to use resource mapping and pinio command in BF to operate the physical button on the VTX. 

Useful if your VTX doesn't have SmartAudio or Tramp.

You can use the same trick to simulate DVR record button too.

Very nice hack. Don't know why I never thought about. Probably because virtually all VTX come with Smartaudio/Tramp these days. Still nice though.

Interesting application and this opens up some extra possibilities.

I wonder if pinio can be setup only on specific pins/pads?

I have set them up on VTX vbat power pad on Lumenier Lux F7 Ultimate and LED pad on HGLRC F722 Mini to connect a HGLRC Hermes WIFI module but only when I found manufacturer instructions to do so.
