Configure KVTeam OSD
#1
I want an OSD that I can configure.
I couldn't get the multiwii osd GUI to run on windows 10 but the KVteam GUI runs

I have 3 different KVteam MicroOSD modules and 3 FTDI programmers

I can upload the firmware fine with Arduino SDK. with no errors

I can also apparently upload the fonts to the osd with the KVteam GUI that seems to work fine too.

The problem is when I try to configure the OSD parameters using the KVteam GUI and save the changes
They do not save.  when I read them back they just return to their previous values

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I have looked at various blogs and youtube videos but nothing really seems to address the solution to this issue.

Unfortunately I don't have the solution to your KV problem, but just to let you know - I had a similar issue with MW OSD GUI not launching on my computer (win 7). Now I use a different machine and it runs flawlessly (win 10). I think used 32bit client while being on 64bit system, as 64bit doesn't work here either.

EDIT: check if you can edit the settings in OSD menu, you can access it with your transmitter when it's connected to your FC with stick positions:
- throttle mid, yaw right
- roll mid, pitch up
Find me on Youtube and Instagram. I currently fly: DRC Aura, NOX5R, Minimalist 112 and drive a scrap RC car
