4 Some back story here: OK, so we we are at this beautiful spot by the coast, next to a range with a couple of cows grazing at the very far end. We're like, meh, these cows probably don't give a damn. So we set up our gear and get ready to rip. But then, literally a few seconds into our first flight these cows come RUNNING towards us, like ALL of them. Hmm, that's weird, maybe they're mistaking us for farmers and they expect some food. So we decide to walk over to the OTHER end of the lot, leaving the cows behind. Setting up the gear again, taking off... cows come galopping towards us again. What is it with these steakholders?? Do cows like the sounds of quads? Or maybe they just think : "MOOH, that looks like some serious fun! Why the MOOH do we not have thumbs!!?"

0 Cows are curious about things that they don't perceive as a threat. I wish I had known about drones back when I was still running a cow/calf operation. It would have made checking the cows a lot easier (and fun) in a couple of pastures that had several small clearings in the trees where they would hang out.
Great flight.

0 It actually wouldn't be that hard to get them to follow a drone. Hang a small bag of feed on the drone, fly it over them, and once the get the smell they will most likely start following it and go right into the catch pin. I used the same concept all the time with a bucket of feed in my Jeep or on the ATV. Hmmm - I may have to do some experimenting with this.
