Ok....this question basically comes from having too much time on my hands after finishing a project here at work.  Does anyone bother to clean their quad....is it necessary?  I have not been flying near as much as most of you guys, yet I still have bits of grass/dirt/dust etc all over the exposed circuit boards and connectors within the frame.  So far I have hesitated to do too much for obvious reasons.  However I was thinking maybe a sort bristled toothbrush and maybe some canned air?  Or is it even necessary?

I usually clean them only when I've broke something and need to take off the top plates...so, I clean it a lot...

I do use a toothbrush and scrub off the stuff I can, then dip the brush in 90% alcohol and work it more. Then a rag in alcohol for the flat sections. Dried on grass is the toughest to get off it seems. It sticks to everything like glue.
