Cleanflight buzzer
#1
Hello guys,
I have 2 micro quads, 1 with a rev 3 afromini, and one with a mini flip32, my problem is the buzzer on cleanflight, the afromini does not work at all, and the one on the flip32 beeps constantly. I had to flash betaflight on them and they work perfectly there, but I like cf better the motors run cooler and they seem easier for me to kind of tune.
I believe is a setting on CF since they work good on BF, anybody has any experience with buzzer on cleanflight.
Any help would be appreciated.

The most recent versions of Betaflight do have a lot of new buzzer settings which allow you to manually select what will trigger the buzzer, along with changing some of the settings by default.

You can check in the cli in Cleanflight for buzzer settings. Try "get buzzer" or "get beeper" to find settings on it.

But if I were you I would instead try and get Betaflight working with your quad due to all of its other advantages over cf. A few things to check in Betaflight are; pids (excess d or even p will stress the motors), loop time (higher loop time can = more stress), or filters (use these to stop the fc/motors trying to correct every little vibration).

Ironically I don't use a buzzer anymore - my naze no longer lets me use it!  Sleepy

Hi Gryffin, yes betaflight makes it easier, I'll lower my looptime and spend time learning how to tune my pids, its my quad and I kept burning batteries to low thats why I went with the buzzer, saves batteries when it starts beeping. Its the tuning I dont get "yet".
