I vote for video footage into water deep enough to fully submerge a mini-quad. Picture proof of the submerged quad (which may be difficult in murky water ) or the person themselves in the water recovering the quad still dripping I hope I never earn a scuba badge Posts: 1,504 Threads: 83 Likes Received: 944 in 654 posts Likes Given: 2,142 Joined: Sep 2016 Reputation: 24 Windless fields and smokeless builds Posts: 2,416 Threads: 51 Likes Received: 1,861 in 1,175 posts Likes Given: 3,315 Joined: Mar 2016 Reputation: 74 I think I like #3 best. A Tree!!! The following video is my proof of treehuggery and the recovery of such hugging: (had issues with the runcam again otherwise I would have uploaded HD footage... but the DVR footage seems to share the story just fine) carl.vegas Current Quads: Operational: Diatone GT2 200 In need of repair: Bumble Bee, tehStein, Slightly modified Vortex 250 Posts: 2,416 Threads: 51 Likes Received: 1,861 in 1,175 posts Likes Given: 3,315 Joined: Mar 2016 Reputation: 74 Nice recovery! Welcome to the ranks! • Posts: 1,590 Threads: 89 Likes Received: 1,283 in 768 posts Likes Given: 1,274 Joined: Jan 2017 Reputation: 31 Thanks! When I realized that I could see ground from the video and knowing the field pretty well I felt pretty confident that I'd be able to get her out but I wasn't completely sure. Anything to avoid having to drag one of the club ladders out there! When I realized the tree next to it could make for a good whipping device... I figured... "beat the bee out!"... carl.vegas Current Quads: Operational: Diatone GT2 200 In need of repair: Bumble Bee, tehStein, Slightly modified Vortex 250 Posts: 2,410 Threads: 136 Likes Received: 1,790 in 1,052 posts Likes Given: 3,302 Joined: Jan 2017 Reputation: 50 Dude that was awesome! All I can think of is Gorrilas In The Mist haha. You're gettin' pretty good at those "looking backwards" tricks. Unfortunately it's hard to see the trees Congrats on the badge Carl!
