Choosing a LiPo charger for charging multiple batteries
#1
What charger you guys using for LiPo batteries?

I have a Accucel 6 but it take me a while to charge 9 batteries one by one. I was thinking to get a parallel board for it so its speed up the process..but i was just wondering what you guys using.

I just sold my Accucel 8 (those are great little chargers!) in favour of an iCharger 4010duo. I also have a hobbyking xd-6 4 channel charger for the stuff that needs its time (like the fatshark batteries) and a whole bunch of parallel boards. One for every charging channel. That way I have all my batteries charged in an hour at 1C. I am in total support of parallel charging if you are able to be careful and check the voltage of every single lipo you attach to the board before you do it.

Thanks!

Parallel board is mostly for 6 batteries. Can i charge just 3 batteries on a same board?? because i have batteries with different c ratings.

Yes, you can charge between 1 and 6 cells on the common paraboards. You can even put several paraboards in parallel and charge as many batteries as the current limit of your boards can withstand.

In fact you can also charge batteries with different c ratings together. You can even charge batteries with slightly different capacity. Just make sure they have the same voltage when you plug them in. They must be within 0.2V.

I have the iCharger 406 Duo..with a Meanwell 1500W PU. I charge large capacity (10,000mah +) 6S lipo's. this unit can be pricey, however, pays it back in short charge times.
