This time no long range video from me, but a chase video!
The biggest challenge was fighting the strong wind because the weather was really bad (except it was very sunny).
So we had 1) frozen fingers and 2) the wind was strong with different impulses. So flying and getting the subject centred in place was a thing for the whole day.
Place is a private racetrack where they organise these kind of fun day race days where you can bring your car and pay the rent for the track and drive as much as you want.
The event started in 9:00 AM with a detailed briefing and went all through 17:00.
I counted about 40 different cars during the whole day.
What made most of fun was that all the drivers were so chill with the drone in the air and nobody (I say again nobody) said a thing about us flying close.
Also a big win for us was that my fpv buddy and me didn't crash a single battery and no cars were damaged.
A small fun fact is I tried also my cinelifter Thicc x8 drone but couldn't really get aggressive enough for these cars.
In the end everything was filmed on GoPro 10 with 2 sets of ND filters on a Chimera 7" HD 6S drone.
Enjoy the video (I recommend watching on a big screen)!
