I don't know your chargers... don't they have "normal charge" mode? where you just need to plug in the main lead without the balance lead? You just need to charge it like a normal 2S lipo battery.
The Fatshark batteries has "self balancing" circuit built-in so balance lead is not needed in charging.

4 No my charger appears to require that the balance lead be plugged in as well or it doesn't work.

4 09-Jun-2017, 01:59 PM (This post was last modified: 09-Jun-2017, 01:59 PM by rryyyaann.) Checking the voltage with a multi-meter it seems hooking it to the SkyRC charger is doing something. It got up from 7.8 volts to 9. Which is too high for a 2s 1800mah battery. The led indicator in the battery isnt showing any increase in charge.
I really dont want to buy a new charger just to charge this battery.

0 09-Jun-2017, 02:07 PM (This post was last modified: 09-Jun-2017, 02:08 PM by Kleinerbug_FPV.) some charger require to also have the Balance lead connected even if you are just doing a regular Charge. I had the same Problem with my Accucell 6 (80Watt) charger and needed to do a Firmware update to solve the Problem. I think there is nothing else that you can do then buying a new charger that is capable of charging the FS Lipo. Or go for the 18650 case…much better!

4 Guys I found a work around. My charger requires I have a balance lead plugged in. So I used the FatShark banana to charge the FS battery then hooked up a separate 2200mah 2s to the balance port. This worked, it is charging the FS battery.
It should be noted, I did this method for 15 mins in a lipo safe inside a metal tool box. Neither battery got hot after 15 and everything seemed good. I can't guarantee safety here but it does work.

139 To be honest i don't even use the battery that comes with the Goggles... i get a 2000mah 2S pack and it lasts at least 3 times as long than the original pack..
Some people even get the 4000mah pack designed for the Specktrum TX... but it's quite expensive.
