I got a 1000uf 35v one but could not get a low ESR one locally.
Has anyone used a regular cap that had good results?

Has anyone used a regular cap that had good results? 01-Jun-2017, 11:09 AM Using regular 35v 1000uf on 4 builds atm. all is well. Clean video, no blackouts. (had blackouts with the BF F3 before caps) Although I am a big fan of caps to make the power supply smoother, I feel like good grounds are much more important for good video than capacitors. What I mean by good ground is: In a perfect world, the ground would always have the same level but if for example you have the cam attached to the 12v stepdown on the pdb but the vtx has battery voltage, they will have different signal ground levels due to the different lengths of the path and the noise in the system. This then changes how the signal is perceived. |
