Any idea where that can come from? Wow! I've never heard of anything like that! Are all KISS FC's like that? Normally this runs in the background of kissFC configurator, you won't even notice it if it works right. PS: flyduino unlocks it for you, he just had to send them his FC's SN manually, if i understood that right. That's why I don't understand why people are buying KISS FC from flyduino and flash Betaflight.. It's like you buy a Mac, then you fire up Windows emulator and never use Mac OS again... haha Posts: 2,416 Threads: 51 Likes Received: 1,861 in 1,175 posts Likes Given: 3,315 Joined: Mar 2016 Reputation: 74 09-Mar-2017, 07:57 PM (This post was last modified: 09-Mar-2017, 07:58 PM by sloscotty.) (are they really *that* nice?) I can only speak for my own experience with kiss FC's... in short terms: A) i appreciated the "keep it super simple" aspect at first - but after their initial release they quickly followed up with countless updates for both FC firmware and configurator... not what i wanted, not what i bought it for. B) it's more difficult to set up your quad just right imho (less options than betaflight, no integrated log flash memory), but IF you get it right then it's really AWESOME - feels much more reliable on the sticks than anything else. • |
