11 I don’t know if it’s possible without an external joystick or channel buttons but is it possible to use rapidmix vrx in Orqa headset?
Pilots use fusion and rapidfire in 04X but Ivd not heard rapidmix in HO2.

786 28-Jan-2022, 09:59 AM (This post was last modified: 28-Jan-2022, 10:06 AM by SnowLeopardFPV.) I highly doubt the SteadyView / RapidMix module will work in any other goggles. As you said, the only way to change the settings is with the menu options in the OSD of the SkyZone goggles and the buttons on the goggles themselves. That module has been designed for use only in Skyzone goggles which is a bit short-sighted of them IMO but from the feedback I have seen of that module it is total crap anyway.
So if you are looking at the Orqa FPV.One Pilot goggles then you are going to need to budget another $120-150 for a RapidFIRE or Fusion module which then puts the Orqa goggles at around $700 just to get analogue functionality working. As far as I know, only the RapidFIRE module has native integration with the menu system and buttons on the Orqa goggles themselves. With a Fusion module you will have to use the joystick on the outside of the module to change any settings.
If you can make do with your Skyzone CobraX goggles for a few more months, then for the type of money needed to buy the Orqa goggles I would try and be patient for a bit longer and wait to see what the HDZero digital goggle offering is going to be like. I can't believe the HDZero goggles are going to be any more expensive than the Orqa goggles and they will have a built in digital VRX with 4ms glass-to-glass latency along with the option to connect an analogue module. Obviously there will still be additional expense for an analogue module but at least you get something built into the goggles you are buying (a digital receiver) unlike the Orqas where you get nothing at all.

11 I got a set of Orqa a few days ago and the optics are very good.
I got a pair of 04X about a year ago and they wouldn’t focus enough to get rid of double vision or blurry OSD and forget about flyable.
I know now Skyzone specs are complete nonsense and they in no way can be +6 to -6,not even +3.5 for that’s my prescription.
I don’t need additional lens inserts with Orqa.
I like smaller FOV.
I’ll know more when my Rapidfire receiver arrives.
Foxeer Wildfire receiver actually looks better in the reviews but I went with what they are designed around.
I don’t have a mini to micro cord and my rapidmix won’t work in headset but the focus menu looks amazing and no blurry or double images like 04X.
