Can anyone help with CC3D?
#1
Hi so i fitted my emax nighthawk 250 with the CC3D (I'm most likely going to swap this to a naze) and every thing was working fine until i realised that i had inserted the speed controllers in the wrong order (Rookie move lol) when reconnecting the speed controllers to the board i think i accidentally put the 4th one in slightly across so it missed one pin.

When reconnecting via USB i no longer get a blue light on the board only the green one. I have tried doing a quick google on this and nothing came up.

Can anyone help ?

The CC3D also seems to get hot when plugged in via USB .

For the CC3D i can only recommend an FTDI adapter.
Because how the hardware is set up the CC3D needs some time to boot up before you can connect USB-Serial.

unplug it, flash your firmware with an FTDI and connect it back.

Next time you missmatch motor pins just reroute them in CLI (if you are using Cleanflight).

Thanks for the reply.

Just before i read your response i was looking at arduinos and for the cost i might as well order a new cc3d and put this one to rest lol.

I would suggest to get one of those Arduino Nano
They have an FTDI chip you can use to flash things and still use it as a nano itself.
Or get an FTDI Adapter itself. It's always worth it to have one, esp. if you brick something.
