0 what kinda camera angle do you guys fly with for close proximity freestyle?
I've been struggling with this. Lower angle im finding is better for more control but i tend to go too slow yet higher angle is faster but much harder to judge obstacles. Advice?

1 Start at like 20 degrees and then every other time you go out flying raise it by 5 degrees if you feel like you're getting better and need more speed. You'll feel good going up in angle over time and then all of the sudden you'll hit an angle where you're like eww I don't like this. Then just bring the angle back down to the last one you liked and you know where to sit for a while.
Just a reminder... speed isn't everything. i like watching Johnny Schaer fly as he isn't crazy into speed and yet he is probably the best freestyle pilots around. While speed can be cool, you have to find your style and like Mark Taylor said you fly what suits you. I race at ~45 and I freestyle at ~30 because i feel most comfortable in the zones. some people love low angle, some people love high angle. 25-35 is a good range.

72 If you can't find that balance between ground and sky, maybe you should try a more wide angle lens on your camera?
