Buying an FC
#1
Mates. I need you help! I read Oscar's post about FCs, but I can't choose. What do you suggest for now and future? Buy F3/F4, AllInOne? I use Realacc X210 V+ frame, so this is a little spaced frame. Do anyone used AIO FC/PDB/OSD, was there any problem with for example freezing, interference, etc...

Kombini F3 looks good.

Thank you!

It really depends on what feature you are looking for.. also if you want to run Raceflight then you probably want to go for F4, betaflight can do both F3 and F4

No, I have only used the RMRC Dodo flight controller but that's a F3.

You probably have gone through the post you metioned in the OP already?
To find out which FC suit you the most, list the features you desire, figure out if you want to run KISS, Betaflight or Raceflight (the 3 main FC software now), pin layout preferences etc... it's easier for us to recommend from there Smile

I want to use FrSky X4R-SB, need OSD, so this is 2pcs UART, if the FC doesn't include it(fe. DemonRC). I want telemetry on OSD, RSSI on tx.

I think to use:
• DemonRC Soul + Core
• X-Racer Quadrant 25A
• RacerStar RF2205
• FrSky X4R-SB
• FT48 VTX

Are those good?

im using the combo soul + core, and im very happy with it.
what i like
- good quality,
- good design where to place what on the board
- well connects soul + core ( look for the new pdb as well)

what i think could be improved
- price (but you pay for good components so... i prefer to spend few bucks)
All the best

Maybe i will go for xracer v3.1. Does it supports spek sat without stepdowns? 3,3v?

Yes, a 3.3V pad is provided for that.  Use the SBUS port for ground and signal.
(The 3.3V pad is near UART 1. SBUS is UART 3.)
