My very first build, second test flight, wasn't even fully finished with building it and this happened:

Toast!  Was the NBD Hive16.  Any suggestions?  If possible, should I just replace the ESC OR get an entirely new FC / ESC combo OR AIO?

Also, any ideas on why it happened?  I'm new to this hobby but I'm thinking it could either be that the motors are too big or something got in there that shouldn't have been.  I have Mama 1105 motors:

DIATONE OFFICIAL - Mamba FPV Racing RC Drone Spare Part 1105 5500KV 3-4S Brushless Motor

Also, should I be using a different size motor for this 120mm frame and 2.5" props?:

Team BlackSheep Online Store - TBS Source Micro V0.2 (team-blacksheep.com)

Any ideas / suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Fly High

16x16 stack lack the reliability especially if you push them to their limits.

You are not going to find an ESC that match the FC pins. I feel FC/ESC stack connected via pins is a terrible idea.

I would get a 20x20 stack as it seems you have enough space. If you do not have 20x20 mounting holes then you can make or 3d print an adapter.

Thank you.  I kinda figured that would be the case with the pins.  This frame does have the 20x20 mounting holes so I'll be shopping for a new stack (without pins).
