Lesson learned, my littlebee 20a flashed with multishot can not handle 125 looptime at 8khz. 
RIP 2 littlebees and 2 Rcx 2205 motors. What F390 ESC do you guys recommend? Littlebee 30a or XM30a?

There are more options for F39X ESC's now

ZTW has an F390 based Spider Pro Premium out now. Massive RC carries them.

Aikon, a new player is shipping F390 30A ESCs this week that look fantastic as well. BuddyRC should have them soon! I believe Massive RC and XHover will also be stocking. They'll also be shipping new BLHeli_S ESCs soon too! That's exciting!

Would the LB20's with Multishot work fine under 500 looptime? Has anyone tried that?

Yes LB20 can run up to 4000khz max so you can run up to 250 loop time anything lower you will start frying things.

You don't need multishot for that. I run my LBs with oneshot125 on 250 loop time (that means 4khz gyro, but it's really 2khz motor update rate)

It also depends on which LB20 you have. The LB20PRO has F396 processor, whilst the normal LB20 has F330.
