For my lack of liking of the current video system, I am so totally stocked to be flying my creation!!!!!!!!! it really is just a matter of changing out what I do not like for a better setup.  Any suggestions on a VTX that is variable 200 to 600 mw?  Would like it to mount to the existing stack (there is room).  Also, is there a board that can add Betaflight OSD that is not a complete FC?  Newb questions  Tongue

You can add an OSD with one of these tiny little boards:

(Search for Micro Minim OSD on your favourite vendor's site.)

It can't be configured in Betaflight though. It needs configuring with either a nominal cost Chrome app or a free Java app. It also needs a free hardware UART to connect it to the flight controller.

A genuine Betaflight OSD that you can set up in the Betaflight configurator is connected to the flight controller's MCU via an SPI interface and the SPI bus is not available to external devices.

For your VTX, the TBS Unify Pro is what you need. Or the Unify Pro HV if you don't have 5V power with at least 1A free to power the 5V version of the Unify. The Unify Pro will go all the way up to 800mW and you can change channels and power from the flight controller. You won't be able to mount it on the stack, but it's a tiny device and there will be room for it just about anywhere. If you're going to use full power, it needs plenty of air flow or otherwise it will overheat and shut down.

UIART 1 is available as I installed the RX on UART 3, so that will be fine I think. There are some 5V pads on the FC,so I think I may be ok...but will check to make sure. Either way, thank you!!! I feel like a RunCam will be in its future as well Smile

I decided to go with the RunCam Swift 2, TBS Unify Pro 5G8 HV with a Lumenier Pagoda 2 antenna. I really feel like the RunCam is a great camera and I LOVE the Swift Micro 2 on my 2". Hoping the swift is as good. The Unity Pro HV will push a signal of 800mw, so it fits my requirements. Looking forward to getting it all set up again.

It took a long while, but here are some white props  Big Grin

They are some free ones that a vendor threw in as a thanx for an order a few weeks ago.  I thought they were just cheapies, but they are pretty good props!  I think they are the DAL 5x4.5, TJ5045's.  They are very quiet when compared to the KingKong 5045's I have so many of.

If the KK 5045 props are bullnose ones, that would explain the difference in sound.

I'm not sure those are Dalprop T5045s. The blades don't look wide enough. It should be printed on top of each prop what they are.

Nothing pressed other than J5045 on the CCW and J5045R on the CW's. They are tough enough to survive a morning of flying with me! Do not really care...free props are free props!

Your props look like these: https://www.quadfever.com/index.php/stor...l-x3-j4045

It might help if you like them enough to buy some more. The only ones made by Dalprop that are called J5045 are two bladed props.

Just to say that I only linked that supplier as they were the first who had a picture of what I was looking for. I don't know if the supplier is any good, but I hope so if you have already ordered from them!

Ordered off Ebay. US supplier. I also found a box of DAL 5040's, 3 sets in the garage. I think I will have enough props for a while. RunCam Swift 2 and TBS Unify Pro on their way as well. The camera has a basic OSD. Really only care about battery voltages.
