Have a 210mm frame coming from BG, as well as the related electrics. The whole build will cost about $120 complete. A really basic acro rig. Looking forward to beginning the project. Between this and the Hornet, I think I will be kept busy learning how fly for a while Components so far: Frame: Lisam LS-210 210mm Carbon Fiber Frame Kit Motors: Racerstar Racing Edition 2205 BR2205 2300KV ESC: Racerstar RS20Ax4 20A 4 in 1 PDB: Matek Systems PDB-XT60 VTx: Eachine VTX03 Super Mini FC: F3 Flight Controller Acro 6 Camera: Eachine 1000TVL 1/3 CCD I do not think I am missing anything...comments or suggestions welcomed! Definitely seems like a sound bundle of parts and there's lots of support around on getting this sort of combination working together. Unless you have various parts and sundry floating around you may find yourself short on some sundry stuff like battery straps etc What are your propeller plans? I just got a box of basic King Kong 5045 3 blades for mine, I figure by the time I can tell the difference between prop types I'll have broken a few hundred running into stuff A. Nice. Looking forward to the build! I assume you have some goggles. But, I don't see a receiver or any props...... might make things hard to get of the ground I used KingKong 5045x3's to start and have only ever actually broke like 3 of them. I only replace them when they have become severely deformed/unbalanced from being bent back into shape so many times. I also have 3 sets of 5-5-3 Butter Cutters here which I like a lot on my Hornet. Nice catch on the UAVFutures $99 build! I ordered a slightly different combination of parts as there seemed a few better choices that did not add much to the overall build. Have goggles and a controller already. Bought my friends FlySky FS-i6 and ordered a pair of Eachine VR-007 Pro's. Trying to keep things simple and light on the budget. SoCal Kaity :D OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! Ours will be very similar right down to a flysky radio gear... I picked out my FC and ESCs based on the links in the video (hopefully he'll enjoy the affiliate kickback :p ).... As mentioned above. receiver, battery straps, and materials/tools which you probably have much of based on your experience with the hornet. carl.vegas Current Quads: Operational: Diatone GT2 200 In need of repair: Bumble Bee, tehStein, Slightly modified Vortex 250 • Posts: 3,288 Threads: 129 Likes Received: 2,740 in 1,644 posts Likes Given: 2,969 Joined: Apr 2017 Reputation: 65 Update - now have the motors, FC and camera. The frame should be arriving today, but I still need the PDB, VTX and ESC modules that are all coming in the same packet. The delay is killing me!!!! LOL My friend is gifting me a couple of 3S batteries and his old charger, so energy is covered for a while. Had to purchase a new soldering iron. My old one finally stopped heating sufficiently after years of faithful service. In the mean time, been practicing crashing with my 65mm micro and flying my Hornet. Went together surprisingly quick and I feel pretty confident that it will actually fly eventually SoCal Kaity :D OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! I feel like I have truly accomplished something with this project so far. It still needs to be powered up and that will require a freshly charged battery. The one my friend provided me will work, but the charger he gave me is not working. SoCal Kaity :D OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun!
