Build Process
#1
Evening Gents......

I have started my first build and I was soldering the leads for the aft port ESC to the pads on the PDB.  I had a brain storm (or maybe a brain fart) and coated the solder joints with liquid tape thinking that it might help prevent a shot circuit in the event of high moisture, or damage from a crash.  Then it dawned on me that perhaps that was not one of my better ideas.....if I have to remove the wires later how difficult will my "brain storm" make it for me?  Photos Attached.  Comments/suggestions?  Thanks guys.

If this is just normal liquid tape it shouldn't be any different from removing a sticker. Just prize one edge up and peel it right off (hopefully)

Hope this helps and makes sense.

Do you use spacer between the PDB and the bolts holding the arms?

No.  None were provided and I have seen many other builds without spacers.  If everything is properly insulated it shouldn't be a problem...I hope.

It's just a thing to keep in mind, imo i would go for safety. 'Many other' isn't an argument Wink

Have fun building the quad Smile
