Solved my problem of the missing press-nut. Used a nylon locknut upside down! The tapered upper section of the nut works perfectly to center the holes and thus the alignment of the arm will be correct Time will tell how it holds up to my abuse. She's alive! Looks to be a full recovery! Test flight as soon as this weather clears out Even the prop nut took a shot! All motor bells and shafts in order though. Also found the source of my vibration under hard accelerations, I believe. I noticed the PCB to the Swift2 felt loose when I unplugged it for the rebuild. After some investigation, look what I found. Insulated the board with electrical tape, which also secured it better. Test flights will tell Posts: 1,590 Threads: 89 Likes Received: 1,283 in 768 posts Likes Given: 1,274 Joined: Jan 2017 Reputation: 31 good luck, we're rooting for you! carl.vegas Current Quads: Operational: Diatone GT2 200 In need of repair: Bumble Bee, tehStein, Slightly modified Vortex 250 • Posts: 2,410 Threads: 136 Likes Received: 1,790 in 1,052 posts Likes Given: 3,302 Joined: Jan 2017 Reputation: 50 • Posts: 2,410 Threads: 136 Likes Received: 1,790 in 1,052 posts Likes Given: 3,302 Joined: Jan 2017 Reputation: 50 Cam vibrations, tamed. Notice the pickup truck that pulls in towards the end of the video. I'd be interested to see what speeds I'm actually reaching though. I had never put much thought into this until now That is neat. I actually have a Hot Wheels drag racing track for the kids that would fun to scale their speeds along with the timer and lights it already has I'll have to see if I can track one down for sure! Until then, do you guys recommend one speed app over anther? I haven't tried any of them, so I can't help there.
