Solved my problem of the missing press-nut.
Used a nylon locknut upside down!
The tapered upper section of the nut works perfectly to center the holes and thus the alignment of the arm will be correct Big Grin Time will tell how it holds up to my abuse. Wink

She's alive! Looks to be a full recovery! Test flight as soon as this weather clears out Thumbs Up

Even the prop nut took a shot! All motor bells and shafts in order though.

Also found the source of my vibration under hard accelerations, I believe. I noticed the PCB to the Swift2 felt loose when I unplugged it for the rebuild. After some investigation, look what I found.  Confused

Insulated the board with electrical tape, which also secured it better. Test flights will tell Smile

Thanks Carl! And yes, she screams! Wink  I found the "scream" even draws in spectators. Rolleyes Cool  Notice the pickup truck that pulls in towards the end of the video.

I'd be interested to see what speeds I'm actually reaching though.  Thinking

There's an app for that...Big Grin

or you can try a $20 used radar gun:

If you can actually find one of those HotWheels radar guns (which is tricky because they don't make them any more), then by all accounts, they are much more accurate than any app.

thanks guys. I had never put much thought into this until now Wink
That is neat. I actually have a Hot Wheels drag racing track for the kids that would fun to scale their speeds along with the timer and lights it already has Big Grin I'll have to see if I can track one down for sure!

Until then, do you guys recommend one speed app over anther?

I haven't tried any of them, so I can't help there.  But if you do try some, let us know Big Grin
