Sometimes that is the "insurance" price you have to pay for peace of mind knowing that is the final price you pay and so that you know in the event of any issues you are legally covered by local consumer laws rather than someone's (non legally binding) word that they will help you out in the even of an issue with nothing to stop them going back on that word,

At the end of the day it's down to what risks you are prepared to take for getting something cheaper from a foreign vendor. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.

Yes i know, but often at least for italy is difficult also find a particular product. in fact i'm used to buy from aliexpress or banggod just for fpv drones parts, i would never buy other products from there like phones or mirrorless to save money.

They reply: "Good day! Thank you for your email.

Tax and duty fees are collected by your own country and part and parcel of buying things abroad. By default the order has 50% declared value. There's a "Self Declaration" button in the order page that you can use to further adjust the declared value. But our recommendation is not to go way to low 25% of the total amount of your order. Getting the attention of your local Customs people is the last thing you want to do. "

watching, the best FC is on a 50a while the older FC is on a 60a esc...i think on these motors : https://www.team-blacksheep.com/products...i_2207_24k should be fine with 50a?
Maybe 6s motors would use 60a ?

The 50A ESC should be fine. Even on the most aggressive pitch 5" props the motor test data for the EMAX ECO II 2207 2400KV motors show that they only draw 41.8A at 100% throttle.

As for the import tax, I ordered something from TBS a couple of years ago and before it arrived I got sent a customs charge notification prior to receiving the parcel. However, for some unknown reason the parcel got delivered and I never heard anything more about having to make any tax payment. This was however before the strict EU / UK import tax rules came into force. You read all the details in the following thread...
