Hey y’all, dedicating this post to my 2nd build. I had a bunch of spare parts as we all do, so the idea was to combine them all together as reasonable cheaply as possible while not sacrificing quality. I wanted to build a drone that was very easy to work on, with readily available replacement parts. This drone is going to be the drone I use to try new tricks and new places I might otherwise be apprehensive to do with my nicer quads. The goal is to fly with absolutely zero reservations in order to gain more confidence and skill. This is “budget” to me because I only had to buy a few things, and I chose a frame that was cheap, strong, and easily serviceable.
Parts I had:
Diatone Mamba F405 Mk2 F40 flight controller
Diatone Mamba Tx400 Video transmitter
FrSky R-XSR receiver
Runcam Micro Swift.
Parts I bought:
TBS Source One V3 Frame ($25)
T-motor Velox 45A 4-in-1 ESC ($35)
iFlight Xing-E 2306, 2450Kv ($14 x 4)
I probably could have gone cheaper, but I feel I went as cheap as possible without sacrificing quality.
