So I have just tested the Brushed EVO F3 on the Whoopee Frame, with the Eachine 3.7V 500mAh 25C Batteries.
My setup:
It flies great, only problem so far I have found is the 5V!
Some close up picture of the EVO F3 I received.
5V Not Great, but flies well
Initially I was powering VTX and RX with 5V (I run the same on the Lulfro board without any problems)
But the voltage fluctuates quite a bit, when LiPo voltage level is low, and if I do a punch out, the RX loses power and it just goes crazy and full throttle randomly. My theory is that the 5V regulator just cannot keep up and it just drops with lipo voltage, while the RX input voltage tolerance is crap so it just shuts down when it's below 5V.
So, I have to power the FX797 from the main LiPo. It's not a problem at all as this VTX has excellent power filtering, it's not affected by motor noise. Issue is gone.
Don't rely on this board's 5V! Especially if you are running a RX on the 5V, I wouldn't recommend powering anything else with it.
They have also added a capacitor at the battery input, which wasn't there when the pictures were released.
Cleanflight Settings
It's flashed with latest Cleanflight firmware v1.13 (not betaflight), but PID settings was way too high, and some necessary settings for brushed quad are not set properly such as Motor_PWM.
My recommendation is to factory reset the board, and go through each necessary setting again.
This is my settings
set motor_pwm_rate = 32000
set min_throttle = 1000
set max_throttle = 2000
set min_command = 1000
set acc_cut_hz = 25
set deadband = 4
set yaw_deadband = 4
set dterm_cut_hz = 40
Battery Voltage Alarm
There is a buzzer pin on the board, so you can hook up a buzzer for voltage alarm and lost model.
But I also found the blue LED blinks when voltage is low (if you enabled the feature in Cleanflight).
What's even better is, the blue LED light reflects on the Whoopee frame, and the light happens to be visible to my FPV camera. Which means I can see the blue blinking when voltage is low when I am flying FPV. Awesome!
Eachine 1S 500mAh 25C Battery
At the same time I also received these LiPo. Tested 2 packs of these. Comparing to the Blue 380mah, They feel to have more punch, but somehow I got about 10% less hover time (hover test, absolutely just hovering). Both are from Banggood.

My setup:
- Brushed EVO F3
- SRP8 RXd
- FX797 VTX/Camera Combo
- Whoopee Frame
- MMW Dark Edition 8.5mm motors
- Lady Bird props
