1 It's the lumenier lux f4 micro fc. It doesn't even have a voltage check built into it.. I rather hate it but haven't had the money for a new fc yet and got a osd vtx recently to hopefully overcome that issue.
The quad flew perfectly fine before I added the vtx osd chip onto the stack which wouldn't fit until I cut down bolts and flipped the FC and 4in1 esc board which is when all of this trouble started.
Each motor spins up insanely strong with no problems in motors tab so I know it's nothing to do with bad connections there. It's just acting like it's got something wrong with the yaw. It's jerking back in forth in the yaw once you let go of it to let it stabilize itself.

1 05-Jun-2017, 09:23 PM (This post was last modified: 05-Jun-2017, 09:58 PM by Redazu.) Alright so playing around double checking everything I've discovered the problem... finally..... Or at least pin pointed a problem that directly relates to the yaw issue haha
When I go to motors tab and spin up each motor individually... #2 and 3 are causing ONLY the yaw gyro to jump around a lot. #1 and 4 don't seem to make any of them move more than normal. Soooo... vibration? Or perhaps electrical interference since the chip is upside down making it closer to the escs?
I actually got new motors in today so I'll swap them out and see.
*edit*
Alright so I put the brand new motors on and it has the exact same problem though I narrowed it down a little more. I reset the custom mix back to default quadx and the orientations to 0 and checked again. It's only motors #2 and #3 that cause yaw to freak out, which are diagonal from each other. #2 it freaks yaw out A LOT and #3 it only does a decent bit around 1400+ throttle. So what do you guys think?

1 I already said that I soft mounted it and it's been working fine until now.

30 Any loose wires touching the fc maybe? What kind of softmounting did you use? Rubber standoffs or just o-rings?

1 Just the rubber rings that came with it. They seem like they wouldn't be all that great lol. But it's alright, the problem was having the processor being upside down which made it be super close to the esc board and it was making the yaw freak out.
I moved the boards apart and it works fine now but that FC won't fit any other way so I had to order a piko blx. This will be the 4th piko I've had. They always quit working in some way or another for me -_- but thanks for the support guys. Hopefully if somebody comes across the same problem they'll see this thread and it'll help them.

30 Some weird sort of electrical noise induction then... Good find.
