blheli settings for my new build?
#1
Hello all

As these aikon blheli_s are my first blheli-escs, i'd really love some tipps for optimal settings for my new build.
The escs are the v2 30a 2-4s, motors are rcx 2206/2400kV (light & torquey). Props heavy 2-blade HQ 5045BN.

I want to be on the safe side, but also get good power and response out of them... settings so far:

Any tipps on startup power, demag compensation and motor timing for my specific setup?
I also need it stable and safe at min throttle... a bit in fear of rolls of death. Smile

I think Motor Timing at Medium works for most setups, and it's probably one of the safest option.
Turn on Brak on Stop Smile
And go through ESC calibration as you normally would, don't worry about PPM min/max.

Thanks, i'll check a bit with medium timing first. Might test one step higher later, maybe.
Yes after first quick test i enabled brake on stop now. They were spinning quite long. Smile

Recommend to disable "programming by tx" after? I figure this would only prevent accidental recalibration on esc reboots, which shouldn't happen in the first place. But still a safety measure of some sort.

I have disabled the "Programming by TX" at the end of done all the settings, i don't know if it's really necessary, but you know for sure that there is not going to change something if you are doing crazy stuff, only if you do it with the programming software.
