I used to take great pains to test each motor before soldering, then crossing wires on appropriate motors. Now I prefer the "flat wires" look and don't bother anymore. I recommend reverse in BLHeli and go fly.

thanks for that
i DL both chrome version and official BLheli
chrome looks the simple , lots of pdf's came with the official version
and chrome is very small. no brainer its chrome version .

yikes ,i had a rapid heart beat for a moment . thought i would
connect up my current flyer for giggles to just see what the
eachine250 simonk 12A esc's had to say . opened BHC
asked kindly for the setup and caressed the mouse .
get the esc's to sing , but nothing comes up .
should be the 2 panels with the choices,,,ok so i back out
disconnect configurator ,next the usb and battery,
reconnect the the battery and the esc's didn't give the normal song.
just started beeping and did not stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wash, rinse, repeat , still with the insensate beeping ..
ok now what?

found that if you open CF ,connect battery and low and behold everything cleared up
got the regular song .. disconnect everything and reconnect battery and everything is normal.

wonder if the crossed motor wires had anything to do with the weird reaction?

Most of the designs that run SimonK firmware will also run BLHeli, but there wouldn't be much point in calling it a SimonK ESC if it wasn't running SimonK firmware!
