So I downloaded the configurator client and the two drivers for the USB connection. I plugged in my quad to PC and then plugged in my battery and hit connect. It can’t find anything. Do I need to download any other software besides the configuration and the drivers? I’m at a loss. My issues is that all my motors are spinning counter clockwise so I need to switch the directions Running the iFlight succex 4 in 1 esc Windows 10 64 bit • Posts: 12,099 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 try using impulserc fixer. https://impulserc.blob.core.windows.net/..._Fixer.exe if this doesn't work, then can you take a screenshot of the device manager for the device that pops up when you plug in the FC to the computer. Windows 10 should have the STM32 without having to install anything. if you are not even getting anything to pop up in device manager, then likely you only have a charge USB cable and not a data USB cable. • Posts: 188 Threads: 37 Likes Received: 18 in 11 posts Likes Given: 19 Joined: Jun 2020 Reputation: 0 (09-Jun-2020, 06:02 AM)voodoo614 Wrote: try using impulserc fixer. https://impulserc.blob.core.windows.net/..._Fixer.exe if this doesn't work, then can you take a screenshot of the device manager for the device that pops up when you plug in the FC to the computer. Well I was using the same cable I used to talk to betaflight on my MacBook so I don’t think it was the cable. • Posts: 12,099 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 You don't have to download any driver on the Mac. If not, then my initial question needs to be answered. But to answer your question it says something of the likes of “Unique ID received xxxxxxxx” But I think the problem is I never hit “read settings” tab on the bottom right? I thought it would work like Beta Flight and just open up to your settings once you’ve connected? I don’t have access to my PC now but I can check this in the morning. • Posts: 12,099 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 Hope it is that simple. Using BL Heli configurator on Mac RagingMonkey • Posts: 21,245 Threads: 586 Likes Received: 8,962 in 6,632 posts Likes Given: 1,425 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 787 I assume this is for your new Spedix BLHeli_32 ESC. You are using the Mac version of the BLHeliSuite32 aren't you, from the link below? https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1...3aMBrNzCig • Posts: 188 Threads: 37 Likes Received: 18 in 11 posts Likes Given: 19 Joined: Jun 2020 Reputation: 0 (24-Aug-2020, 12:22 AM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: I assume this is for your new Spedix BLHeli_32 ESC. Let me download this one and see if that does anything. This worked fine with my Tekko32 ESC, so idk why im having issues with this new Spedix one. Maybe I downloaded the BL Heli Suite onto my last macbook (ive since upgraded) So maybe I was accessing my Tekko32 with this suite application but on my old laptop. User error, as per usual. Now how do I flash that beta version of BL Heli 32 firmware that you were talking about that fixes the issue I had on my Tekko? RagingMonkey • Posts: 21,245 Threads: 586 Likes Received: 8,962 in 6,632 posts Likes Given: 1,425 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 787 Yes, the BLHeli Configurator only works with 16-bit ESCs. Not ant of the BLHeli_32 ESCs. To do the firmware upgrade, perform the following steps:- - Run BLHeliSuite32 and then read your ESCs to find out what layout firmware they are using. The image below is for my Tekko32 Metal ESCs. The first row shows the firmware layout.
- Go HERE where the 32.7.2 beta firmware is and download the same firmware layout version that has the same file name that matches your existing as your ESCs have. To do that click on the file you want and then click on the "Raw" button at the top, then right-click and do a "Save as" and save it to a file with the layout name and a ".hex" extension.
- Then back in BLHeliSuite32 click on the "Flash BLHeli" button at the bottom.
- When the "Flash Assistant" box appears, click on the "Ignore" button at the bottom and then browse to and open the HEX file you downloaded in step (2).
- Then flash the file to all 4 ESCs while keeping your fingers and toes crossed that nothing goes wrong because if it does then your ESC could end up bricked. Make sure you do not disconnect the power during this process.
