Blade inductrix bind/arm issue
#1
Okay so I'm new to this I had went to the store and I bought the blade inductrix fpv RTF. While attempting to change out the pigtail I screwed up and bumped one of my motor connectors with a soldering iron so board is trashed because I don't have enough skill to put a new one on there I decided to go to the Hobby shop and see if they had a replacement board they did not so I went ahead and picked up the Blade inductrix fpv Pro bind and fly now I have bound the transmitter I got with the ready to fly version to it and when I go to spin up the motors they do not spin up from what I'm understanding there is an arm and disarm to it anybody know how I can arm and disarm with this blade inductrix transmitter that came with the fpv RTF model the mlp4dsm. I wouldn't be trying to connect to this transmitter but I did pick up a taranis qx7 today unfortunately I was not able to pick up a module for it module is on order and coming in the mail so that's why I'm trying to hook this old MLP4dsm to it in the meantime so I'm not left sitting here just twiddling my thumbs staring at a new Quad that I can't fly. Anyone able to help with this by chance

Have you tried plugging the inductrix into a laptop to check the BetaFlight configuration?
You can download BetaFlight from here - https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight...r/releases

If you can plug the inductrix in, and give us some screenshots of the 'ports' tab, the 'modes' tab and the receiver section of the 'configuration' tab... Check the receiver tab and see if the coloured bars move with your stick inputs..?

It looks like you have it bound. The blue LED is solid?

This is what it says in the trouble shooting section.

Problem: Will not respond to throttle

Possible cause: Throttle too high and/or throttle trim is too high

Solution: Reset controls with the throttle stick and throttle trim at the lowest setting.

Edit to add...

It looks like the RTF transmitter has no switches. You press the right stick to change modes.
The BNF is set up to use a mode switch and an engine arm switch. I don't think they will work together.

The inductrix uses a proprietary flight controller it doesn't use Betaflight so you can't change anything.

Thanks Lowlife, I was under the impression that the inductrix was a betaflight F3 board, sorry for any confusion!

I have found out the way it is set up it does need to be armed before it will fly so I guess right now when I'm looking to do is see if I can make a stick arm on that transmitter through betaflight which I assume that there was already a stick setup for that but if my values are too high will not arm correct?

My apologize to Tom BD Bad I didn't know the Pro had Betaflight. I looked through the manual but only at the transmitter sections.

On the receiver tab in Betaflight press the right stick down like a button and see if any of the inputs move. If one does set that up as the arm switch. Then in the modes tab set it so it is in the flight mode you want to fly by default.

Edit:
In my defense I looked at the manual again and there is no mention of Betaflight. Just some disclaimer about 3rd party software.

Its ok lol...yes the right stick does have value...I see it on my ezi gui ground station....don't seem like I can do much in that but I'm having a hard time getting betaflight on my computer windows 7

You need to find out which aux channel that switch is so you can set it for the arm switch.

I have been trying but it will not connect to betaflight it just keeps telling me the date the time then failed to open serial port will be honest I am lost lol this is way more confusing than just flying the thing I'm very excited about the hobby but this part is getting me very discouraged as well I currently have one I cannot use sitting in front of me because I can't figure this out and two more coming then I'm going to need to do the same stuff with this is getting to be a bit of a bummer

First of all I gotta say lowlife ur a trooper and I appreciate ur help. I see ur all over this forum and I can respect that so again thank you. Ok so I'm finally connect and betaflight is reading my quad. The right analog pressed down come in as aux 1 so I assume I assign arm to this? I'm trying to figure it out but its all so new lol

Some of the stuff at the beginning you don't need right now but you will when you get your new radio but they explain how to set up switches.

(We still don't know if that press switch will work as an arm switch. You will have to try it and see.)

Also you will need this eventually.

Alright we have Lift-Off took me awhile to get it but I got arm on auxiliary one which is the right click I couldn't get anything else to attach to the left analog click cuz you needed the hold it so what I did was take the value of angle mode and spread it all the way across auxiliary one does that sound about right I'm lifting off and I am in angle mode and if I just click the button it shuts it down
